This is a a discussion topic for the map "dm_lost_base_b5" by gtamike_TSGK which can be found here

Map description:

Title: dm_lost_base_b5

Autor: gtamike_TSGK

The map is set in space and has a very alien look to it.
The map provides alot of cover so players can take survive if they choose to.
There's a combine shield all around the base to keep the player from falling into space.
The weapon layout has been well thought about and the gameplay is fast.

I've been working with the map Vis, now the fps has improved for the map

The main foor texture has been updated with some detail (You will only see the change in you have render on high in video options)

Best Thing about the map: Layout
Worst Thing about the map: Aesthetics

I really loved the design for this map. Its perfect arena deathmatch action. So in the gameplay department, you did well.

On the other side of the fence, the visuals department, I was a little disappointed. Some of your texture choices are just bizarre, such as those pathways textures in what looks like a metal truss texture. I think this map would really look good with some palm trees, futuristic vending machines and rubbish cans and cool fluorescent lights, would have been a really awesome place to fight. In regards to your lighting, I agree with the fact that this map should be well lit but it seems like your light is coming from nowhere.

The amount of ambient sound was also disappointing.

Maybe you could improve the visuals?

Anyway, good stuff man, gets a 3/5 from me.

Added a nice render skin for the water melons
Added rotating green HP booster
Added lighting effect sprites and spot lights
Added 2nd telporter (where clan black cat clan logo is )
Added explosive model
Added some weapons in wall hole (breakable glass)

Added more blood

Improved frame rate
