A curvy L shaped Arena with Sniper Towers at the intersection with the only entry through a central pool.

31-01-06 UPDATED to Alpha2
  • Added Central Sniper Towers (Accessible by Pool.<LI>Adjusted various Textures/Weapon Placement.<LI>Set all Exploding Barrels to 60sec respawn.<LI>Added Exploding Barrels to pool.
01-02-06 UPDATED to Alpha3
  • Added a quick 3D Skybox.<LI>Added a mini pillbox to each base.
Added Map for Download on Fateback and Rapidshare. Fateback is instant D/loads but due to a upload restriction, each alpha is split into 200k RAR parts. (Alpha2 is 4 parts. Alpha3 is 6)

  • Add Player_Clips in various places.<LI>Alter Geometry to make use of Smoothing Groups.<LI>Enhance 3D Skybox<LI>Optimise all ground to a single Displacement.<LI>Improve global Texturing/Lighting.

This map is based on where I live. My House and surrounding area.

The Main Building is 4 levels & an attic. Since each floor is (almost) identical, I spent a lot of time perfecting just one floor before I duplicate/alternate to make the rest of the building.

Particular attention has been made to the way things look, move & break. I'd like to post the map for some input at this point, but Snarkpit doesnt allow "test" maps.

The 1st 3 Old shots below are Concept Planning (Simple blocking in Maya)

Other 2 Old shots are in game while I was working with the one floor.

I'm working on this map daily. squashed almost every bug. Thankfully I have a bunch of friends who are more than willing to help me brute test each update.

This is a remake of a much loved multiplayer map from an old game, Star Trek: Elite Force.

Klingon based L shape map "Honor"

The Stone Columns are placed to allow skilled players to "bunny-hop" from one end of the map to the other. We had a lot of fun & wasted a lot of time playing with this. :)

As the Original Map, it is complete, but I've decided to boost it a bit, by adding an extra floor in the bases with high walkways as an alternate attack/defence point, although dangerous as the only way to the upper level is through the spawn rooms.

I'm afraid that due to the excessive player speed in the current hl2ctf, this map may be too fast. Have not been able to test with decent enough numbers yet.

Any comments or suggestions on these ideas are welcome!
