Map Description

CS_Roof, is your standard hostage rescue situation, the counter-terrorists begin there mission in an elevator, leading out into an office, the building you are in is about 80 stories tall, and the terrorists are cornered...so to speak, on the roof, with the hostages, the counter terrorists must fight there way up to the top floor and rescue the hostages, there is plenty to hide behind in the office complex, then when you hit the roof, you can duck and dive behind fans, and power generators until you reach the hostages.

This map will feature.
1. A locked door, behind which are 2 of the hostages. This door can only be opened by shooting off its hinges.
2. Several other things, but the above is what im most proud of :D

They have big metal ladders where I work

I'd assume they would realistically be cement though. I mean the top of the building itself is cement as it seems - Some stairs won't hurt, if it can support the existing weight of the cement building.

Besides, who the HELL in their right mind in their right mind would put heavy cement at the top of tall buildings! Metal stairs are the way to stay standing my freind, and they look quite good now, the ones ive come up with are satisfactory. More updates soon

<DIV class=quotetext>Does anyone have any tips on creating stairs, im trying to create a set of metal steps leading down into the building, but i cant find any models, or the right kinda texture in CS;S, any tips from people

PS: What do people think of my map, dont worry if you think it looks good now, im sure to ruin it next time i load up Hammer

</DIV></DIV>
I wouldn't bother with metal ones, just go for cement, it's easier and no-one's taking notice of the stairs.
