This is my rushed submission for the GameBanana Junkyard Contest.

I spent about 5 days on this when it needed 5 weeks and it shows, tho i'm happy to be able to submit something this time(since i missed entering the recent dangerous cargo competiton).

Star map!
Well, I worked on this map for three months...
my idea was to make a map, with pleasant weather, with good lighting and easy gameplay.
I used custom sounds in some places, (wind chimes, classical music) you can check in ct_spawn, bombsite A, long hall and other places...
were used custom sprites, (Flowers on the displacement) to make the environment more beautiful...
the map was well optimized, provides high fps and smooth gameplay.

can i play versus bots?
yes! nav. built manually with place names for better gameplay!

40 spawn points (20 vs 20)
soundscapes
3D skybox
radar overview
custom textures and models
custom sprites (vbsp)
custom sounds

Important:
All the custom content (except the nav) are embedded in the bsp

Installation instructions:

Extract the de_leika.bsp and de_leika.nav into the following directory:
C:Steam\SteamApps\youraccount\counter-strike source\cstrike\maps

well ... that's it!

Notes
Most doors and windows on the plane and terminal are breakable.

Originally, this was supposed to be a hostage rescue map, but i had a really hard time getting the hosties to follow me through the plane. SO i took up a TWHL member's suggestion to make it a bomb defusal map, instead of trying to figure out the navigation mesh.

The plane is more or less a complete 747-400, with some obvious liberties taken like the air stairs in the back and some other things. All the seats and galleys are placed right where they would be on the real plane. (I DID take out a few rows of seats here and there, to allow better player movility)

This is not the newest version of the map(i probably have at least 6-7 "imporved" revisons), but this was the last one I was able to compile with playable fps, despite all my efforts at optimization.

I will do my best to release a newer version with the updates and playbable fps, but compiling is quite cagey at this stage, and i'm not promising anything. This will probably be my last cs:s map now that cs:go is coming out.

Laundry- Hostage Rescue

Terrorists are holding four hostages at their makeshift base
in a former laundry/dry cleaners on the edge of downtown.

Terrorists: You are holding several contractors
hostage - keep them alive until they are no longer
necessary to you, but spare no expense to prevent the
enemy from recovering them!

Counter-Terrorists: Your team has been inserted at a
loading dock close to the location where the hostages
are being held. Make contact with them and escort
them to safety, and eliminate all terorrist threats.

This is a map I made a long time ago. It is one of my favorite maps of mine. Small and fast paced, but with plenty of options to get to either of the 2 bombs sites. As always I hope you enjoy playing on this map as much as I did in creating it.

I did not make this map. I was asked to fix the spawn points and missing textures. So I did. I give all the credit to the original mapper who created this map. I am just making my updated version available.

I want to use this opportunity to also discuss placement of Player Entities. There should be 64 units of space between any 2 or more player spawn points. The entities here were placed holding hands, and that cause at the start of the game for players to be stuck inside other players.

Also, please when level creating, use the no draw texture, and stick to the grid, this had to be some of the worst brush work I have ever seen. This map is still riddled with many of the original bad brush work and so forth.. I fix some of it to make the compile times less than an hour. Again I take no credit for this map and give it to the original mapper. I hope my fixes make the map more playable.

Another CounterStrike Source map. This is an under ground facility where the Terrorist have taken hostages and the CT's need to rescue them. I still need to make the overview map, and maybe tweak a few things. That is why this is still a beta build.

UPDATE: PAKRAT All textures and models, added Overview.

Game play is fast and furious. Lots of angles to attack from. Should provide a different kind of play than your flat plane maps.

I was told the map is a bit dark so I have gone in and added some more light. You can download the update from MIRROR 2.

This map was originally made for a clan server I belonged too.. they wanted a small map that was fast and yet offered some challenges. I think I accomplished their desires. This is Version C of the map, some minor changes in line of sight from CT to T spawns, and some minor graphic changes.

As always I hide WALDO in my maps.. find Waldo if you can.
