I downloaded and goofed around on your map :smile: I don't play HL2DM because I prefer CS but your map looks pretty good. Not on par with the professional maps (gives you something to shoot for!) but definately not any worse then many of the maps that make it onto the servers. I thought it was pretty cool... plus I liked throwing things around with the gravity gun since I never completed HL2 or played HL2DM so I've never gotten to play with one hehe... throwing exploding barrels is fun.

Nobody? Does it suck so bad? I need feedback, does it still lag? Is it fun? How could it be improved? One thing that will be changed is I am going to move some windows so they line up better with the beams for access.

It is called dm_diesel_beta3, I have improved the FPS and would like some feedback, specifically if it is smooth now or not.

Looks good for your first map. The pipes textures look abit streched and the lighting is abit bland.

Thanks ReNO, that is what I was looking for. I really just want to know if it is playable and if not what is it about it that doesnt work. That site looks like it will give me the feedback I need. Would be nice to play it online with others but oh well.

I wouldn't get your hopes up on seeing your first level on a server,
even though this does look pretty good for a first level. You might try
global assault however, as they host custom map servers and do little
reviews...
