Map Description

My first map. Small map inside a large industrial building.
I have learned alot since releasing this map. I incorperated this knowledge into the map and am re-releasing it as dm_diesel_redux.
Changed the lights, added sounds, made lower area lights shootable and a whole lot more.

Ok I have learned alot and have applyed this new knowledge to dm_diesel. I have changed the lighting, sounds and a whole lot more. Re-releasing it as dm_diesel_redux, will post a link as soon as I can get it hosted somewhere. Maybe snarkpit would like to host it? Maybe put it on your server? Really should try it it rocks.

Ok picture links are fixed, with newer screen shots too, ty reno.

Ya I did not put the RPG in the map and the secondary ammo for the ARG? not sure about the name, is hard to get. SMG secondary is pretty easy but you need to know where it is.

Working on my next one now, did a quick awp map after diesel but this next one is mega-huge in complexity. Here a link to a thread on it if your interested

This is a nice map. Its looks realistic structurally with the girders and sheeting. I may of missed it but i couldnt find the rpg though you may have left it out due to the maps size.It may have positioned ok in the middle of the map or perhaps on one of the trains making it difficult to get. But this map is final now i will look forwards to your next one.

Hey all this map is Final, dl link active, hope you enjoy it. Cleaned it up, improved performance, added some weapons, sorry no slam it went final before that update.

OK fixed the cubemap problem and did a couple other small fixes. Map can be found here

Comments and suggestions welcome, and if you looked at beta3 then this should look way better :/ I musta been bagged when I up'd the last one. Made double sure this time.

Ya the center is a deathtrap :smile: and I just realized that I didnt build cubemaps on that release (dm_diesel_beta3) D'oh! Why didnt anyone tell me :sad: There is lots of cover along the edges and upstairs, I did intend it to be fast and furious. heh dm_diesel its fast and furious :razz:

k I am going to release dm_diesel_beta4 with a couple fixes, mainly I will run cubemaps this time grrrrrrr!

I like it -- nice and bright, no camping in this map :smile: Only suggestion would be to put in more cover. The lack of things to jump behind in a gunfight makes this sutible for about 4 players.

/edit: K, looked at it again. I did over look some things it appears -- just the "center" of the room looks like an absolute death trap :razz:
