Map Description

This is my first map - so be nice and helpful on this message after you have played it. I would like any feed back you can give including additions and changes.

You may need a hefty machine to play the map well

Looks nice. I only have CS:S set up on my machine and you didnt have any Counter-terror or Terror spawns so I could only spectate :razz: I like the light outside but I don't get what the bubbles are in the underground sewer area.

The environment light is quite "orange". If you're trying to
achieve a dusky look, the angle of the light (the pitch) should be a
lot less than what you have right now. Judging from the
screenshots, the angle must be somewhere between -60 and -75, which is
early afternoon. The light at that time should be very bright,
and mostly white with a hint of yellow.

Yes, nice detail work on the indoors. Good work for a first map...better than what I have to show, so far, heh :smile:

the last pic looks really good, but the second one: is that a tv screen "hanging there"? it looks very weird. it needs atleast a border.

Yer the inside is cool, the outside looks grim... Ever thought of getting a floor plan for alcatraz and making it from that?

It is a multiplayer map for now - Alyx is just for fun

I know textures need work in areas, but that will be the last thing to tweak before final release.

Yeah, the lighting is dramatic and really good in spots, but sometimes rough and unfocused. Needs more lighting and texture variation, to boot - it looks like a Halo 2 map.
