A remake of that crappy map "aim_ak_colt" but this map has WAY better mapping then 4 random squares and 12 guns on each side. I made 64 spawns, 32 on each side, under each spawn is an AK or an M4, so as soon as they spawn they have the gun. This way when they spawn they don't just have a pistol and have to pick up the gun manually. The map takes place under four huge bridge support pillars. (The four bridge supports is like the four random squares in ak_colt.)
Man you two argue alot, all i have to say is that you can toss no draw on anything that you wont be able to see, (back of a wall, outside of skybox, etc.) and that will bring a persons FPS up by a good 20-40. Downloaded the map and i ran 90 FPS and normally i run about 200 so you might want to try that.
40 FPS give or take 5. With people on, not on maxplayers 1.
Boom, yes, I HAVE a s**t computer. But keep in mind that i'm running HL2/CSS on settings OPTIMIZED for my s**t computer so that I can play online without any lag caused by low FPS.
And YOU keep in mind that it's up to the mapper to make his map work on a wide range of computers, not just on top-notch ones.
"What's the point in telling you about my s**t computer"
Boom, that's it. You have a s**t computer. It has about 45 fps for me. Also Most of Valves maps don't have HDR. And I would like to ask how Militia runs by the way.
Lag n 1: the act of slowing down or falling behind
It's caused by high ping or low FPS or both. Given that I was running the map on maxplayers 1, I doubt it's the ping.
What's the point in telling you about my s**t computer when I can say this: all of the official maps run smoothly ONLINE with dozens of people on them, yet an aim map with a puny game area with 0 players on kills-off my FPS? Am I the only one who sees something wrong in this?
Meh.
