Map Description

This is my first attempt at a CTF style map. This is a nighttime scenario. The battle takes within an industrial pump station...carved in the rocky terrain of the Black Mesa facility. Sofar, the map is looking pretty good..how it plays is yet to be seen. This is, remember, my first CTF map.

I haven't felt the reccession being a first year student it's probably a good thing for me as my loan/grant stays the same, but prices are getting cheaper. That said the media industry has taken a hit and is hiring less (so my editing lecturer says). I'm just glad that my course has the reputation it has which will help when it comes to getting a job in a couple of years, when hopefully the economic situation is getting better.

Someone call me when WALMART files for chapter 11. Until then I am not worried.

Hmm, first off, I completely missed this thread. I don't think it appeared on the front page or something, otherwise I would have posted.

Having said that, It amazes me as to why they would get hit. consumer electronics is a pretty big marketplace, and they were one of the top competitors. If anything, I would image RadioShack would have gone down before them.

Personally I haven't felt the recession. My field of studies (Architecture) AFAIK, hasn't diminished whatsoever. An architect I know down south, says business has never been better, as their client base has doubled each year, and this year looks to prove the same. There are more people building more houses down here in the South, so I don't see many traits of a recession down here.

I suppose I'm gonna need to go check out the Circuit City near my home before it closes soon!
