Hmm... "keep getting this dumb window" doesn't really tell me a great deal as to what could be wrong.

Click ok, do the 5 search terms, if you can't find anything from the
results to down to "nothing helpful?" boxout, and click the "post in
forums" link.

The method to avoid noob-questions is rather aggressive and ignored by those insistent enough anyway (see "how do I create a brush"). I wouldn't mind some easy-to answer noob questions in a novice editing section. It would help to fight the scare-off "elite" image of the Snarkpit. The easier questions could be answered by other beginners anyway and people will remember this site as a helpful one early on.
