I was wondering how to go about getting Episode 1 features into my mod. I know I've seen posts about this before, but I searched this forum, and others, and haven't found anything.
Specifically, I'm looking to get vertex lighting, which I've heard is a new Episode 1 feature. I'm using a static prop as my ground piece since its kind of a strange platform shape and with my limited displacement map skills, I didn't want to go that route. Problem is, there's a house on the platform and it's not casting a shadow onto my static_prop ground piece.
Right now, my mod is running on applaunch 215, which launches from the SDK Base. I've heard you have to recompile the code? I know next to nothing about code or how to compile it. If you could just link me to an answer or any help at all would be great. Thanks guys.

As far as I know until they update the SDK you can't get Episode 1 features yet.
