I tryed to make a hangin light, like the one in the tutorial.

and i got this error

entity (keyframe_rope) had unused keyvalue "angles"

i tryed to compile the map anyway and i found out that the rope was attached to the wall, not the lamp. (want to add a screenshot, dno how :/)

i also downloaded the map from the tutorial and i got the same error, i searched other tutorials on this subject, and everytime i get the error.. :'(

HELP ME!

That error is caused by moving the rope after placing it, and can be fixed using the fix button in the error window. It's not the cause of your problem

You're real problem is either you set the parent of the rope wrong, or you set the next keyframe property wrong.
Also change the texture of the dock. Docks are rarely tile. -Facepunch

lenght_constraints are broken in HL2DM currently which are used for most ropes. Just play dm_powerhouse and find all the lamps lying on the floor.

"unused keyvalue "angles"" is harmless.

hmm.. maybe i should have told you i play it in cs source.. not hl2

:x

but anyway.. i haven't moved the rope after creating it, the fix button doesn't fix it, (after i "fixed" it and i open the problems again.. its still there)

and i haven't set anytrhing wrong.. couse i downloaded the tutorial map.. made a room around it and compiled it. (unless the totu's wrong)

i am DESPERATE!!.. :sad:

Keyvalue problems sometimes exist when you haven't moved them. Regardless, they're harmless.
Also change the texture of the dock. Docks are rarely tile. -Facepunch
