If you remember I came here with a problem a while back that my speakers were poping and my monitor at the same time was... well it glitches. Anyway most of you said that it could be that the outlet is on the same circuit as something else in the house turning on and off.

So I bought an industrial/construction extention cord so I could try another outlet. I just wanted to make sure that it is ok to use an extention cord on my power bar.

If you could answer that, that would be great.

if the wire gauge is ok (the same), a power cord wont hurt....i would not run a 50 foot line, but it shouldnt hurt anything....done it, im fine...
