Well I have finished the map. I included all but one of the latest suggestions, changed a few things, added a few more. Most notably, I removed the windows from the front of the ship. They were not necessary to my original goal for the map and proved problematic for the half-life engine as I got closer to its limits. As for weapon placement, layout,texturing, lighting, and any other minor technical issues....

well I'll just have to take my lumps from here on in. Kinda like beating a dead horse after a bit, and it's been close to 2 yers now. Enough is enough, I would like to thank all of you who's input helped in the final versions.

I will be running the map on a dedicated server tonight and tomorrow for anyone who wishes to play the map on-line. Screenshots and walkthrough at link below:

I'll download it to take a look-see. the screenies still look way too fullbright, though, especially since klingon ships are usually very dark and dingy. :confused:

steam doesnt read .pak files, Just unpack it all to the correct folders & you can use it on steam.
