I'mim new here, i've known about snarkpit for sometime though.. awesome tutorials :smile: and i finally got a map together and would like to share it with you all

its a really odd name haha, it started off as a ice cavern map for cs:s but grew to a military base shifting between reality for hl2dm and pd:s and everyone who played it in its early stages got used to the name so i kept it.

i used some textures from unreal tournament 2004, i map for that aswell
( i have no idea to inject textures into the bsp file :confused: )

i hope everyone likes it, i'll be gone for a couple weeks let me know how you all like it.

Hello 8chaos. Welocme to snarkpit, if you need any help with anything than just give me a pm. I'll check out that map of yours. :cool:

edit: I must ask, i've never mapped for source before and I must of seen those white rails (first or second pic of you map) like a thousand times. Is that a model or does everyone just copy it?

Use pakrat to compile custom textures into the bsp file.
Also change the texture of the dock. Docks are rarely tile. -Facepunch

hey thanks for the replys :smile: , sorry for putting this in the wrong spot.

i got those textures injected into the map. thanks a bunch Stadric that program rules. and yeah the rail model is used everywere lol, doesnt look to bad though.. better then my rail texture looked like 2d crap.
