I get this error when trying to compile a playermodel in Milkshape:
unknown bonecontroller link 'Bip01 Spine'
The model is for Sven-Coop.. The odd thing is it uses Gordon Freeman's default biped pulled directly from the SDK. I have used his biped before on an earlier version of this model, and it compiled fine with no error. Vertices were assigned to the mesh using Physique, and they are all bright green plus signs - meaning they are all 'Rigid' and only assigned to one bone each. I DO have vertices attached to 'Bip01 Spine' -- only two though. I know this because if I click on 'Links' in Physique, and click the vertical link in the stomach area, it is called 'Bip01 Spine', and the two verticies assigned to it will highlight green when clicking on it.
If I just remove the Bip01 Spine entry from the QC, then it says it can't recognize Bip01 Spine1, and then Bip01 Spine2 if I remove that..etc. If I remove all the bonecontrollers, then it can't recognize the attachments. If I remove those as well, it will compile, but the model will obviously just be standing there rigid, non-moving, for all animations.
Edit ...what is wrong with these forums? It's adding slashes in my post everywhere and I had posted my QC file here.. and it just cut it down to like the first 8 lines... even though it was showing up before.....
