This is a a discussion topic for the map "Hybrid Theory: Office" by Hugh which can be found here

Map description:

Hybrid Theory is a single-player modification that bears resemblance to both Resident Evil and They Hunger. You'll be a police officer who goes in to investigate... stuff.
I don't think this will come to light outside of an open-source package, and since I'm feverishly working my open-source (and some new stuff) into a horrible HL1 mappack, you won't be able to get the source until the mappack's released.

Looking good, bud. And - hey - here's an innovative way of guiding you. Couple of dodgy textures on the second shot, on the ceiling, see if you can align the wood with the wall on the left. First shot's a little empty as yet, add a couple of decals and you'll be flying.

Looking forward to the finished result.

Hybrid Theory: Christmas 2003, people.

I really like that hallway in the first shot - simple yet really pleasing architecture. The second shot is kinda standard with nothing particularly special about it, but doesn't look BAD either.

I really like the first picture, but I think the second picture needs alittle more detail. Then you got a good map. :D

Looking much nicer now, though I'd consider having a couple of those lights flickering / off, just for variation's sake.

Good improvement on the second shot, keep this up throughout the map and it should be nice. I suggest you lose that notice board texture though, its REALLY bad, and looks out of place against the other nice textures.
