I am trying to have Barney (who is sitting) get up, walk to a computer terminal and type on it, stopping along the way to wave (using gesture08). I have three scripted sequences each envoking the next that 'sort of' do this. He gets up, walks a bit, stops and waves, then continues to the terminal and types.

The problem is that at the end of each action Barney raises his arms to the default idle position. When I checked gesture08 in the model viewer Barney starts and ends with his arms akimbo. How can I avoid this? It seems to me that if these sequences always play out like this they would be rather useless as it looks rather silly to have him walk about lifting his arms from his side before and after any action.

I don't really have anything useful to say I'm just posting this so you don't feel neglected...

All I can say is that back in my Half-Life 1 days I remember having this problem as well but that's it, I don't even remember if I found a solution. What happens if you use ai_scriptedsequence instead? Sorry. :uncertain:

Thanks for reply :)

Can't seem to find ai_scriptedsequence just ai_scriptedschedule which doesn't seem useful. Guess I'll wait a few days and try yet another forum.
