This is a a discussion topic for the map "cs_kap9house" by kvackabill which can be found here

Map description:

This is the same map as kap9dm for HL2 Deathmatch, but for CS source.. It has been changed abit for better gameplay (even though I still don't imagine it being good)

The map has no hostages it is too small for that.
4 players max is recommended.

1st off: Very well done. I like the game play of the map. You can access the house from the doors or windows via the roof. Makes for lots of great access and for terrorist to really step up their game to protect the house.. heck either team that gets the house. Plenty of space to move about. If you don't make this a Hostage rescue it would be a great Gun Game map, or Fun Yard.

Here are my suggestions for making it a great 24 man map.

1: Put 2 hostages in the garage, put two hostages in the house on the second floor near in the room with the gold chair.

2: CT should start at tunnel, 12 spots. T's should start by blue truck in back, again 12 spots. This forces both teams to rush in to get to the hostages.

3: The rescue point should be the Tunnel where the CT's start. Decal the zone on the floor there. Since its so small the one will be fine.

Again well done. Its a fine map for up to 24 players. Most CS games are murder fest anyways.. this just gets to the point a bit faster. GREAT JOB MAN 4 Stars!

Oh if you want to add a bit more Tactics to it.. Add some cover on the back drive and some hay bales or some such think in the front yard.. also give access to the side door in the yard to the garage.. and have a vent or another door for access, so there is a way in the garage from that area. If you need me to show you, I will screen shot it for you.

Thanks, glad you liked it. This has only 8 starting points total btw, 24 players? That would be crazy..
Fixing a hostage version as you described wouldn't be too hard, and I think I understand where you want the vent to the garage.. It's really good you are describing how you want it (makes it less time consuming).
In that case this version is the "aim" version.. and I will post that as cs instead.

But I got to say I have no clue if it will be good, but on the other hand I don't play CS so I don't really know. :hee:
