Basically when I refresh all in the server browser, it shows between 2-6 servers typically. (Filters Counter-Strike, Australia)

I know for a fact that there are a lot more servers than that in
Australia, and it only started doing this a couple of weeks ago. Before
that I'd get dozens. The weird thing is, when I refresh it will show
for example 3 servers, and when I refresh again it will show
3totally different servers, and again, etc... like it's choosing
3 servers out of the dozens randomly and showing me only them... :/

What options do you have on? (Filters)

Oh, sorry.

This probably wont do anything (as long as its currently blank) but set latency on "all". Other then that, I'm not really sure, since you can see servers.

Your best bet on an answer is emailing steamhelp, or browsing their forums ... no need to actually post something though.

<DIV>I've been getting a lot of problems recently relating to LAG. Will be playing just fine at the "Steam-improved" ping of 100 (was previously 25), when suddenly it jumps to 1000 or more. These bursts can go on for anywhere between a second and a minute.</DIV>
<DIV>,</DIV>
<DIV>If you've been experiencing similar problems, perhaps a latency filter could be getting in the way? Not that you said you have one applied...</DIV>

Delete the serverbrowser.vdf and masterserver.vdf then
exit and restart steam. Steam will then download the files, that is
what fixed it for me.
