                        First, you'll need to record the dialogue. The scientists' files were PCM audio format, 11 kHz sample rate, 8 bit sample size, and 88kbps bit rate. Then you'll need to change the sentences.txt in YOUR (the one your making) mods directory.                         can it actually be done, i know that in  HL the characters lips move exactly as they do in real life when they speak, but in the origional...                         All you need to do is create the wave file as R@lph said and then give it a name under sentences.txt and the rest will be done for you. It doesn't work like it does in HL2, where you have to use "Face Poser" for the sentences. You just specify it. The sounds work on frequency or amplitude or something. The mouth is essentially a single hinge where the bigger the amplitude/frequency/whatever the wider the mouth opens.
