I am working on a cs map for CS: Source. I can't seem to get the hostages to follow me. When I use them, they respond, I get money, but they don't follow. I have placed info_nodes in my map, but they still don't follow. Any ideas? Thanks.

You must set "info_node" entities as waypoints for the NPCs. Set them to the ground and attend to put them in range of sight in each area of the map.
after compiling and loading the map you have to execute "nav_generate" in the console of cs:s. after that you?ll find the mapname.nav in your mapdir.

Really? You need info_node ents for hostages?? I didn't
think that was necessary.. I thought they simply followed the
player. But I haven't tried..
So would you have to place info_node entities along every path the player might take the hostages?

Is there possibly an entity (brush based) which you need for the
hostage rescue zone as well. I figure they might not walk if there's
nowhere to go?
