Ive just downloaded Softimage XSI/EXP for half life 2, and watched the four tutoiral videos, but i cannot find the helperbone tool to load up the rigs and muscle features for half life 2. Has anyone figured it out yet?
Also, i cannot find the locations of any of the half life 2 models, i can get them in the model viewer, but as far as XSI is concerned they dont even exist.
Anyone solved these problems yet?

I don't believe that you can open a .mdl in XSI, because it's already compiled.

You need to decompile the models first into the SMD format and a QC, which XSI has a tool for I think. You should get a SMD or 2 of the model, the rest will be the animations.
