Hi all, me n00b to Hammer :smile:
Ive set my Hammer up for HL2DM mapping, Ive created an extremely pathetic map and now want to play it, i added an info_player_deathmatch AND an info_player_start (not sure what difference is) and compiled it.
I copied the .bsp file it created into my HL2DM/Maps folder and dedicated server/hl2dm/maps folder and it shows up in my HL2DM but when i click on it, it wont launch, it just goes back to the HL2DM main menu.
Im sorry if i sound so n00bish, i am a n00b and therfore sound it :smile:
Hope some kind fellow can help me.

does your map name have any spaces in it? like DM Map it should be dm_map. No spaces

haha, thats what the problem was, underscoring it has fixed the problem
