When I used +showbudget on my map EVERY bar would stay really low and only peak a tiny little bit every now and again.
Then I added some normal lights and now Dynamic Light Rendering, Static Prop Rendering and World Rendering are all maxed out... are Static Prop Rendering and World Rendering affected by the lag from Dynamic Light Rendering because they shouldn't be different?

Have you only got normal lights? What about point_spotlights and the like? As I said in the other thread, I have a feeling that dynamic light includes the lighting on models (in the world and the weapon you're carrying...)

Yep... only have normal lights, only other thing I can think of is my sinks are shelves are self illuminating for some reason... but that can't be the cause because I had them in before dynamic light maxed and it worked fine. If I send you the BSP can you check it out for me... as it may just be my computer

It may be something do do with your surfaces having alot of specular
and bump properties. If you have alot of lights in a level bump
mapping time goes up like crazy. And I think that includes static
light, not even necessarily dynamic light. You could verify my
genius or stupidity by goinging into your level and typing
mat_specular 0
mat_bumpmapping 0
and see if your lag stays. Also, how many lights do you have in one room there? And did you run a full rad?
