I'm looking for somebody that knows how to use XSI and wants to join me for a series of maps. For now you will be doing vehicles and thats it. I need new and modern vehicles such as BMWs, Mercedes, Audis, and such. This is a just one map for now but it will be a big project so if you are willing to join me for this great journey reply here or email me with some information about you and we can start working on this project. I have not released any information about the map yet because I am not the type of people that post 4% today, and 5% tomorrow, and so forth. That sucks. When the map is released it will be 100% with a beta version for testing purposes.

This level will be for counter-strike because it wouldnt work for DM.

If you want to join a great project reply with any questions.

I think it would be really fun to join you with your map by modeling for you but I am far to new to XSI to even consider taking on a project. Learning XSI on my own is challenging enough. So I wish you the best of luck and if I get really good overnight I will definitly take you up on your offer, as it sounds fun.

I am making a map that is a nice house, its not beaten up or anything like that, and I am having trouble rooting through the stuff SDK gives you to find undestroyed things. I'm having trouble in certain areas, and one is I need an undestroyed car. If you get anybody to make you a model, phobos, maybe you could send it to me. Likewise anyone who wants to make one/has one please contact me.

I will certainly keep that in mind.

And for reference there is one truck from the map de_tides that isnt destroyed. lol

That is about it for now. That would kinda stink tho. Only one vehicle in the whole map lolol

nope, the glass doesn't break. the whole model gets its surface property assigned in the qc file, and that one is all metal. afaik, there are qc commands that will join seperate pieces [glass/metal/rubber etc.] that use their own qc file into one model, but i dont know what they are. yet.

i dont know what you mean when you say will this work in source, 'cause the picture was taken in-game (the crosshairs on the front wing should have given that away) if you're asking is it drivable, then no. as the wheels aren't visible from the drivers viewpoint, then there isn't much needed in the way of animations to make it drivable, so maybe if i decide to make a SP map it can get converted.

as for making bm's or other new cars, i proobably could do, if i had the right source pics to work from, but the amount of time involved is quite prohibitive. maybe i'll try at some point, but for now i'm putting most of my time into a secret plan to steal the universe from gwil once he takes it over.

or maybe you could find someone on the HL rally forums that has some ready made cars that you could use.
