I have a *.vmt file that I've created from scratch. I added a brush to the map and now it no longer creates the bsp file. Below is my hammer log:

                        Yes I know.
But the only thing I have added displacement to is a brush.........I don't have any func_details in my map (at least I don't think I do - is there a quick show feature?)

Find the displacement surfaces you've used, select the brushes, and click the 'to World' button just to make sure then.

                        OK
I've corrected the displacement problem and it's not showing any errors in the compile window but it hangs when it gets to this point:
** Executing...
** Command: Copy File
** Parameters: "C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\o_lachesis_o\sourcesdk_content\cstrike\mapsrc\Turnpiketoday.bsp" "c:\program files\steam\steamapps\o_lachesis_o\counter-strike source\cstrike\maps\Turnpiketoday.bsp"
And then just sits there - is this still the same problem or is there a log I can view to see what's happening?

lol no it hasn't hung at that point (I hope not anyway!) but you need a command to run the game now (or you could just open CS yourself and run it!)

Like a smacktard I had the 'don't run game after compiling' ticked. Slaps forehead!!
