Hello All I'm new to Snarkpit but have been helped a huge amount by the tutorials on this site.
I've had a few playtesters helping me on the map and it seems to play
well... I was just hoping I could get some mappers opinions.
It's my very first attempt so please don't be too harsh- although I very much welcome constructive criticism!
The zip just goes straight in the cstrike folder. Includes a NAV file for bots....
thanks for your time

Nice work you've got there mate. I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE those stairs
However I can't help but noticing the indent showing the bottum of the
skybox in the third pic. At the bottum left of the stairs...or is that
water?
-Very good use of textures and nicely designed architecture, well done.

Well spotted. I had a couple of leaks when I took the screenies... all this has now been corrected.
Thank you very much for the feedback though!
The stairs work really well in-game. Make for some intense firefights and when you chuck a nade in...

The grass looks very flat, have you thought about using dispacement surfaces instead?
Apart from that though, it looks very good.

I made some of the grass areas displacement surfaces but whenever I
tried to do the central one it wouldnt seam the edges so I ended up
leaving it as is.

I like it, From the screenies. I like that curvy thing, How did you get the arches to curve/smooth like that?

Trial and error I'm afraid... basically using basic arches and combining them... took a lot of work and tweaking to get it to compile well.

This map sucks. I just got done playing this map on a server, and it has some good ideas, but the map as a whole sucks. The frame rates are bad, the map lags, the textures are all messed up, there is a miss match of areas, and no flow or feeling of cohesive idea.. its chaos. The game play on it is just bad. I hate to beat down a mapper like this considering im a new mapper as well. But I hate this map. its plain awful.
