Hi, I am having problems with my textures, some of them apear completely black no matter where I am standing, and others apear to fade as I get closer to them. Does anyone know how to fix this? I have tried messing with the lights but that does not work for textures that apear fully black.

Okay, this has been answered soooo many times. Do a search! Anyways, the textures you are using are prop/model textures. Change the textures to ones that aren't prop/model textures and you'll be fine.
