How do I make combine soldiers man turrents? I need a combine soldier to only use a machine gun turrent i'm planting in one of my levels. That means he will only be able to hold on to the gun and shoot. He can't let go of it and he can't do anything else but shoot with the turrent.

yes it is, you'll need to make the turret either a prop_dynamic, prop physics, or prop_static, not sure which one probably dynamic. Once you do that make the "world model" a combine turret. you'll have to search for it, probably in the "props_combine" folder. After you've done that you'll need to make all the trigger brushes. the brush that activates it will have to activate the gun's animation through input output triggers.

New question, new thread usually - BUT, seeing as theyre both about mg turrets, i'll let it pass this time.
