I'm working on a painting in PSP 8 right now and for some reason when
ever I use a tool it effects all the layers instead of the one I have
selected and want to work on. I can't figure out why it's doing this
and how to fix it. If I turn the visibility off on all the other layers
except for the one I'm working on then they don't get affected. However
I need to see the other layers. I must've accidently toggled something.
Edit: By the way the layer I want to work on has a blend mode of
multiply so using a tool on it shouldn't affect the background layer,
unfortunatly it is.

try locking all other layers, or it could be the tool is set to affect all layers.
Though I dont ever use PSP so meh...

I figured it out. I accidently hit the "sample merged" button. This
caused the tool to affect all the layers instead of the one I had
selected.
Thanks for the help anyways Doc. I seem to have a problem when it comes
to answering my own problems right after asking for help.
