Alright. First off, for the questions
1. I'd try to go to
www.3dkingdom.com for that table
(which isn't that great, but a good introduction) And after that,
well I don't know
2. Having never used blender, I can't adequately say.
However, I'd pass this judgement; It's more complex, but once you
explore and adapt yourself to the "controls" if you will, then you'll
find it has much more potential for creativity.
3. This one I really can't say...
4. Yar. It's a good place to start. Another thing to
try would be the iPod Shuffle tutorial that I
think... don't
quote me on this... is on 3dkingdom. It's a PDF that's quite a
good introduction to slightly more advanced techniques.
5. Indeed. If you make the table, and want to add a cup or
something, try and find a simple tutorial on the "Lathe" tool, which
will make cups/vases, and things of that nature simpler.
If you're feeling ambitious, or want to see something a little more
advanced, there are some tutorials at
www.smcars.net.
It requires you to register, but is also an invaluable resource for
blueprints and community support.
