Wouldn't a point_antlion_repellant entity work better than the ai_sound method? It seems to take Enable and Disable inputs, so you could switch the thing on and off.

I guess you could use a point_antlion_repellant entity instead, yes, again using the Enable/Disable inputs.

Ha, in hl2 i didnt even know what these did, but i flicked the switch anyways. Well, i do now. Pretty good tutorial if youre doing a singleplayer map, but its pretty much useless if youre doing a DM level. The thing about without dust - pretty much everybody could have just the prop there that doesnt push away antlions.
