Hey people, whats up? :)

You probarbly dont remember me (Biopulse) much but i was skipping across the web and i landed on your site again and it brougt up so much memories i just had to make a post to see what was going on here these days.

Any of the people here made a nice carreer out of the splendid stuff posted here yet? ^^

I've gone off on a different path, i still fiddle with some editors sometimes, but i cant say i still make maps.

I've gone a bit more into music, and eventually want to get to a point where i can get paid to make music for video games. :)

For now im just happily tracking away learnign about all kinds of stuff you need to know to produce/mix etc.
And im goign to follow a course in mixing/studiotechnician to be able to produce even better stuff.

heres some tracks ive been workin on since i dropped Hammer.

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=UTST7KTA

Its a rar file with some mp3s in it.

please show me what you guys have conjured up this far if you still remember me ^^ i know some of u were damned skilled

I hope this place is still as lively and great as it was and that it'll remain that way! :D

This reminds me a little bit of squarepusher/amon tobin/etc. Were they your inspiration?

I haven't listened to everything, but so far I really like Critial Mass and the end of Into the Sunspots (about 2:40 on). Also subtle melody throughout Journey into a new Dimension is cool.

Right now everything is really jam packed with the beats, which is cool, but maybe try creating some more empty space in the song, and play around with the timing of the notes. Really make each sound count. Also, right now the songs are all going super fast from the start, but you could instead start with less and slowly build up the layers of sound over time. For an example of what I'm talking about, check out Autechre - Corc:

I draw my inspiration out of sounds i hear in my head and lots of herbs :P but i guess you could say im influenced by music in video games and black sun empire (kinda dark/evil drum and bass jungle) but im also working on other styles now.

Working on a dubstep project since 3 days with a good producer friend of mine. to get some more skills :)

heres a dubstep thing ive been toying with: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_songInfo.cfm?bandID=979488&songID=8347008

its a bit cleaner mixed than the other stuff i think.

I've been listening to Evolution of Consciousness for the last few days and my flat mate also liked the sound enough to stop in and just listen to it for a few. It's a chill sound and I must say I'm quite impressed.

thanks alot :) i think it might be because i create my music the way alot of music in games is created, less towards people actually dancing to it but just the listening pleasure. I want to do that eventually. :) Perhaps it could be time to look for some mod to create some tunes for hehe, but i never find my stuff professional enough for that.

I'll give this a listen after telling myself all week to get around to downloading it. Hopefully it should be up my street as I love my electronic sounds..

Currently on a big kick for autoKratz, Boys Noize and as ever, Autechre.
