Not bad. I think it would be cool if it looked like it was engraved into that metal/stone surface.

I like the bird as it looks Egypt/hieroglyph like but the background clashes. Try using a similar time period maybe.

I like the background, but I feel the text and vector shapes are going for a kind of neon glow. I would give the vector shapes and text a shadow and glow parameter, and maybe make a .gif of the glow flickering on and off, like an old jazz club sign, heh.

Then I might add little clips to show that the stuff actually is supposed to look like a sign attached to the wall.
