Hi guys,

Over the last few weeks this game seems to have become quite popular among the youtube "let's player's"

In Slender, you begin in the dark forest at night, and your goal is to find 8 hidden notes spread around the forest. But of course that isn't all, there's this "man" in the forest as well, and he's chasing you around everywhere. He has a white head, no face, has unusual long arms, and well, he's just scary as hell, as he appears around every unexpected corner/tree/anything

The music and sound effects is what make this game so scary. The game is free to download (here)

Try it out if you really want to :D and play it in the dark for a better experience

You should go review all the folklore behind this character. It's one of the more creative things to come out of internet communities.

Also, there's a SteamTile, since you can use custom images in grid view now:

You're talking about the myth behind the Slender-man? Yea I've read some articles on it. It's probably fake, but personally I like myths. Someday one myth that everyone thought was fake, may actually turn out to be real :)

What is a SteamTile by the way?

Well it is a myth ... but I mean, it was a horror creature made up collectively by users on an internet forum, it's from Something Awful.

If you use Steam in grid-view, you will see images for all the games, it's pretty nice, but for the longest time you couldn't put images on non-steam game shortcuts ... now you can. The required dimensions are 460x215.

It makes things look much nicer: http://siefkendesign.com/home/cronozilla/image/steamtile.png

Oh that's neat how you can add custom images now, I've never liked it to see some blank pictures here and there in the list.

I've also noticed that with the "detail view", your own made screenshots appear in the background for each game.

Just right click on the game and select "Set Custom Image".
