I dunno if this is too late already, but what are you planning on doing in Tasmania?
For me the only reason to go to Tassie is for hiking . Nothing else.

I hate summer, the heat just sticks to me. Horrid. Bleh. Winter however, is great because its cold and wet and lovely  So I can't wait for the summer to be over. Except I'm doing my A levels next year, so that won't be quite so good...

Summer isn't that bad, especially if you have some good rain and lots of watermelons! ^^ However, if you dont have any of those, then your last chance is to stay inside all day and uhh do something that doesn't sweat. Otherwise, you'll have to take a showever every 5 minutes. Tough s**t. At least you dont live in Calgary... Freaking drought conditions man!

I must say that winter sucks ass. Can't wear shorts without people giving you looks, have to dig through a couple feet of snow, can't play sports outside, you get a cold and it never goes away, it gets dark at like 5pm and its depressing, etc etc. Bring on the dog days of August with high heat and humidity please! We'll separate the men from the boys!

Mmm yeas, well some guy one day decided that our Christmas would be conveniently placed in the middle of Summer. Winter's still good, though - despite not having any snow at our altitude (for that, head about 1.2 km upwards). The cool makes it easier to cool off (suprisingly) after exercise, and makes my backyard spa that much more appealing...
