Some VHE troubles non-related to editing

Im trying to load some WADs into VHE but everytime I click apply, I get the "report this error to Microsh*t" error and its annoying. At first I though it was because Im trying to load around 40 WADs so I merged together all the CS and DOD wads but that doesnt help either. Is there a limit on either the ammount of individual textures, ammount of files, or ammount of size of WADs you can load?

I have 5 wads MAX loaded at a time. Otherwise uninstall/reinstall VHE, bearing in mind it is a fairly old clunky program :smile:

All I can suggest is add them one at a time and hopefully you will find
out which one is causing the crash. I normally have anything up to
about 8 wads in at a time with no problems, but 40 certainly was
excessive :biggrin: Its possible its not the number of WADs but the number of
textures you are attempting to load in that is causing the crash. I
also think that if it has anything to do with mapping
issues (including tech support for hammer), it probably belongs in the
editing section, but then I'm just a little forum goon and Gwil didn't
seem to have any issues with it :razz:
