I know I saw BallBlue on... who else plays this one? Maybe we can arrange a game so I can eat your brains.

I play as Salad Brain, Salad Brian, or, as you may have guessed, Cassius.

To sum up the game, think of ZP like tag. Everyone starts off as a survivor and one person is a zombie. When a survivor dies, they become a zombie. Now zombies run at 80% the speed of survivors but the more weapons a survivor carries, the slower they run. So do you hoard up on ammo and try to take them all on, or do you pass it out so that everyone has some ammo. Just remember, each surivor that goes down, is going to come back and want to eat your brains.

That actually sounds awesome. I'll wait until the source version is released, as I don't have my old HL1 cd-key.

Says he's the map leader on the site Cass.

I downloaded this a long ass time ago, yet I've never found any servers and I can't even check out the game because if I create a server I have to wait for other people.

Feel free to make us some  We're currently working on the move to Source.

No, I'm not the creator but I'm the lead mapper so I'm in charge of reviewing the maps that get submitted. Unfortuantly several of them got in before I was offered the job so I appologize for the low quality of several of the maps.

The maps aren't great, but a few, like Club Zombo, are quite fun - and that's what's important in ZP. No matter how old HL gets, I'll still keep this one in my Steam folder to play at LANs - like Monkey said, it's like tag. Real fun stuff.

Oh, and Monkey, I might have a map to submit for the HL1 version.

Icky maps, horribly inbalanced, and some serious cases of uglyness.
But, for some reason, it still kicks ass. i've been playing since it
was released.

I'll do my best to make sure that the maps that go into ZP:S dont' suffer from uglyness.
Part of the reason for inballance is that Zombies are supposed to win most of the time so that when survivors win, it's that much more rewarding. And even when survivors are losing, you have to admit it's hillarious to be chasing down the last survivor, or as the survivor, being chased by a whole team of zombies.

After playing for a while I felt like throwing up ^_^. Perhaps because
I'm tired and hungry. To be honest this mod is a little lame  . First
you run around trying to find some ammo, after a while you're killed
and then you have to chase and search for the last few remaining
survivors. Perhaps it's just me being a whining noob  .

The main menu music was nice though. This mod reminds a little of Vampire Slayer. Kinda alike.

Be quite cool if you had the fast and poison zombies in the Source version- the base HL2 models come without headcrab attached, and look really good!

What Lep said. That would be awesome behind words. Make the normal, slow zombie like a tank that can take lots of shots before death, and the fast moving/poison zombies much weaker but with their respective advantages.

Feel free to post on the Zombie Panic fourm if you want to post your ideas but be sure to scan through a few of the ideas that have already been posted because people like to post the same idea over and over again.

Using the HL2 Zombies would almost work but they have the mouth in the middle of their stomach so I don't know if that would work  . Might could try using that burned guy though. I'm in charge of the mapping department so I don't keep up with the models as much though I know our modeler is working on some new models. Our coder is looking through the SDK now and we have several maps in the works so hopefully we can get ZP:S out in a reasonable time.

Please note: if you ever see servers playing maps like zp_hugezombiefall, zp_firingrange, zp_theroom, or warcenter, I AM PROBABLY IN THEM playing as Salad Brain. Warcenter is my own (really s**tty five minute production time joke but real fun) map.

Bah, I just got the new update for the mod. They nerfed the shotgun -- the damage went from 200 to 144, the gun is just about useless at close range now.

Search for the Brain Bread mod - it has exactly this. ZP is still more fun because of the human element.

Yeah, there are a large amount of problems with it.

It'd be cool if there was an apocalypse option in ZP. I mean, seriously, the entire fear element from zombies (and threat) is from horeds of them.

It'd also be cool to see barracading elements in a source version. Such as, choosing your place of hide out would determine the difficulty of survival. (Unless you're a zombie of course).

In a perfect world, there'd be a zombie game to where even the length of your hair mattered
