Tutorials..?

I remember back when I first cam to he SP, and all those tuts i read :dorky:   Where did they go? Is Lep just very, very lazy or are they lost for eternity?? When I look in the tut section im almost beginning to cry :sad:

I need SP tutorials!!!!! :razz:

i believe lep has just gotten lazy, im sure he didnt trash the content that makes up SP. maybe if you asked him nicely, he'll get off his lazy azz and get to the tuts section.

until then, you could always check this site...very good help.

Im just looking for architecture tuts. Maybe if i post my first and only map here and then you guys can tell me what I need :smile:

you should know by now that just about everyone here is willing to critique a map for anyone, just post it in the "maps" forum. and remeber, pix help :razz:

i learned all my basic mapping from reading tutorials posted on the original "wavelength" site..

does anyone know its new URL? and if "they" kept all those fine tutorials?

i suggest, if you need tuts now, before lep has a chance to port the old ones, ask the authors of the originals ( if you can recall whom made what) or google search out your answers...

lep has done more than a satisfactory job thus far.. it would have taken much longer to get V4 running had he ported it all prior to our ability to use V4.. *looks at the globalassault website* is that what you really wanted :sad:

Orph, thewavelength.net & its just a big poor forum with nothing but coders on it now m8. I never visited it before, But its a bit .. bleh now tbh.

Ill upload it soon, with some pics. But, will I do this with "upload to my pit" or the "maps" thingie?

well if you need somewhere to upload shiet, im sure lep wouldnt mind giving you a pit, just apply for it in your control panel. lep is very nice with giving webspace for free, you should see the list of people who got pits, and most of them are doing NOTHING with them.

ok, you got a pit now...but it might not be working yet, if you cant upload let lep know about it.

I do have a pit, only i "cant upload file".....

I dont remember exactly who posted the tutorial, ( I think it was orph ) but can you bring back the tutorial on how to compile with HLCC?
