I know I've already posted on this, and I thought the problem was
solved, but now that I've moved on and done more with my map the props
are again getting all bright, like they are right next to the sun!!

I have cubemaps in place now and there isn't a way to point them at the
props, but I didn't need to before. Also, I tried pointing them at
faces that shared the same textures but this didn't work either.

I'm pretty lost here... :sad:

I had a problem with some of my props coming out with awkward looking
lighting, so I used the light origin property to get around it.
Basically, you place an info_lighting entity at the location you want
the props to be lit from. You can think of this as the props being put
at that location, lit, and then moved back to their normal location.
Now give this info_lighting a name, and enter this name in the prop's
"lighting origin" property. Play around with the location of your
info_lighting until you get your props lighting just how you want it :smile:
