When I play my map (CS:S) with my friend I see a pink and black
checkerdboard on some of the textures he doesnt. I change one thing in
my graphics and it doesnt show it but then I reload the map and it does
it again. Any help?

Are these just normal textures or special ones (glass etc)? Also, what option were you changing?

no options I changed the textures that freak are a stone texture and a water texture

Download latest ATI/Nvidia driver to fix this, ATI just recently
released their new drivers that fix HL2 graphical problems. As for
Nvidia I have no clue since im an ATI guy.

I got the ATI catalyst 4.12 drivers for my 9800 pro.
