ok so i've made a worktop, and made legs for it in a sort of "I\I" formation, the cross part is the parent and the legs are told this. but when i run the map they all fall to bits and my bench ends up on the floor. i tried telling them to wait until damaged before moving, which keeps them intact, but only one piece of the leg falls away.

A couple of things ar going on here:

1. You should be using models anyway for somethign like this.

2. In order to make the pieces stay together you need to use a phys_constraint entity. Think of it like nailing the parts together.

3. You probably want to check the "no physics damage" flag so that the weight of your bench doesn't break it's legs.

You could also select all of the brushes and make the whole thing a func_physbox.
