I know this is a mapper resource but since the forum is "HL2 Editing" I
figured it woudl be ok to ask. Does anybody know what you really
do with Face Poser? is there a way you can say record a voice and
type it out or something and then see one of the faces lip sync to it?
That'd be sweet. I can't really find any websites about the
program, a turn in the right direction would be great.

What do we REALLY do with hammer....lol.....with the face composer you
can have the g-man smile, or wink, or what ever expression you want him
to have, or on any character model for that matter.

Yea I got that much but I'm wondering if theres a way to load new wav' files into it so you can do it to your own audio.

Okay after making a new choreography of a player, go to audio, and
right click, go to wav at the top and chick the wav file you want
to use, but really man you could have found all this out by loading
barney and then one of his choreography senes.
edit: nevermind, just experiment around a bit with the sdk_stuff they are given you.

Okay you need to be more specific in your first question, load a model
(barney in this case) go to chorelgraph, new, save it as whate ever you
want, then it will ask for a actor (im assuming this is what you use to
reference it as in hammer) name it something. then on the actor right click and go to new
channel, name it audio or something, then in the audio channel, right
click on that and go to wav, then import your specific wav that you
want, although it has to be compadible.
