well i've searched my problem with the cubemap but nothing like that:

i run my map with a cubemap entity(only a small room 4 example)...the compiling log say that i have to use the command buildcubemap in the console.....i write it but in the screen(all black) appear the texture of the room that the cubemap refear to and after 2 seconds the game crash.....the error is something like"Can't create custom cfg file in C:\Programmi\Valve\Steam\Username............

Post your full compile log and the full error message !

When you run buildcubemaps does the screen flicker on pictures of the map and then crash?

I get that. It may have something to do with having r_fullbright on for testing purposes
