Hello everybody, this time i'm working on a new map only for cs source.
I call it, De Position. Does it sound strange to you? Yes maybye you think it does.. But i'm working on the map man, not on the mapname heh.
So What do you think when you see this map?
You think this is the new cbble, it's piranesi or Tides?
No, it's not 3 maps in one, it's only inspired by cbbl, piranesi and tides, it's not total copy or rip-off.
Like you see is the map so far small and strange, the lighting looks boring and the textures don't fit.
But i'm aiming to make this something original this time.
You know..
I started to work on this map today, and all i can show is this screenshot and this is what i have done. But someday is today, so i decided to post this Work In Progress..
If someone have comments i'll be very glad to listen.
But whatever, it's 5 % done and more details coming soon.

Enjoy the screenshot!

Indeed, the screenshot looks wonderful. I would be even happier with more than a single one though.

The lighting is very well done. However, I feel that
light_environment should be brighter to match the skybox texture.
Currently, I don't have a good sense whether it's late afternoon or
early morning/dusk. The architecture is very good, but I think it
could use a
few curves at a few places.

Other than that, it looks great.

I've updated the map with 3 new screenshots.

I think it looks better when the sky is blue and dusk.

That crate look out of place in the second shot, I always try and stray
away from the use of random crates in maps. Think about the place
that your making, will there really be crates in that place? if
so then keep it, if not think of another way to provide cover for the
player.
