Are there any yet? That dont use VTEX? I'd like to be able to just do a straight TGA->VTF conversion without having to specify mod directories and whatnot.

I use HL2 Source Texture Activator. I can't remember where I got it.
But it pretty much does all the work for you. You just tell it where
your tga files are(they can be anywhere) and it converts them and put's
them in the correct directories for you. Not sure if thats what you
want but it's makes things much easier. If I can find a link I'll post
it.
