I am trying to get the same shiney effect wall that cs_office has in
the garage area. I'm using the exact same texture and lighting.

Do I need to do something special to make it work right?

Also, as a side note: I'm using exactly the same floor texture as in
cs_office but it seems looks different, its a lot lighter that in cs
office. Again the lighting is exactly the same.

Any ideas?

are you sure you mean bumpmapping? when you say shiney effect i think
of specular. have you set an env_cubemap in that room and ran
buildcubemaps ingame ?

Yea, I probably mean specular. And I have cubemaps.
