I wanted to create a window in my map that you cant see through and is obviously unbreakable but no matter what I apply the glass texture to its always transparent. I atempted turning a simple brush it into a func_brush ans adjusting the FX amount (I belive it was) but no dice no matter what i do its always at the same transparentsy. I atemted doing the way I used to for HL1 but once again no dice please help.

what wil50n said^^
to modify the texture that your already using, extract the .vmt file for the window texture with gcfscape, open it with a text editor, and remove any lines that relate to transparancy/opacity. save it with a new name somewhere in your materials directory and you're ready to rock.
i eat paint

func_breakable makes it break. Nothing more.
