Hey everyone,

I was wondering what is wrong with the water in the 3D mode in Half-Life? When I get in the water, everything goes either blue or black and gets pale, so when I look through the water, I can barely see anything inside. I just wanted to know is it like this to everybody, or is there a way to fix it? Thanks in advance!

I suppose you mean the Direct3D mode instead of the OpenGL mode. This
could be a driver issue, thus has nothing to do with mapping.

Depending on the editor you are using, chances are pretty good its simply driver related, however, certain older cards never will run hammer well. Could you post your machine specs.

I read this someplace here in a tutorial, have you scanned through those yet for any other possible solutions?
There is no history until something happens, then there is.

He's not talking about the water in hammer, is talking about in-game water.
